Gary Bourgeois is a Mecahnical Engineer with Flowserve Corporation in Canada. Gary started his engineering education at the University of Prince Edward Island, receiving a diploma from their program. He then moved to Calgary where he worked in the seismic data acquisition and management industry while attending the University of Calgary. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in the spring of 2004. Gary has hands on experience designing and building mechanical components with the UofC's Formula SAE Race car Design Team and his own motorcycle racing efforts.
Gary started with Flowserve in Calgary right out of University and has held the roles of drafter, project engineer, and project manager, for dry gas seal control panel and support system design and fabrication. He currently holds the posititon of Compressor Seal and System Specialist, serving customers across Canada. In this role he provides technical assistance for the selection of dry gas seals, systems and auxiliary equipment to ensure reliable operation of dry gas seals to reduce life cycle costs.
