Glen Schmidt
Dry Gas Sealing Systems : Instructors : Glen Schmidt

Glen Schmidt began his Dry Gas Seal career with Revolve Technologies, Calgary AB, Canada, in March 1995.  Mr. Schmidt was initially involved with repair and failure analysis of dry gas seals, and moved on to dry gas seal panel design.  Mr. Schmidt advanced to site management for dry gas seal retrofits, and then project management for the construction of dry gas seal control systems.  Part of his work experience in Calgary was trouble shooting dry gas seal failures and assisting in the development of the AMPLIFLOW and dry gas seal contamination prevention systems.

In May 2003, Mr. Schmidt pursued the opportunity of a new position transitioning from an After Sales Support Manager to a Compressor Seal and System Specialist in Houston, Texas.  In this new position, Mr. Schmidt supports users within the South East, Gulf Coast Regions of the United States and the Caribbean, providing technical expertise for all compressor seal applications utilizing his skills and experience gained in the industry.  This includes the selection of dry gas seals, systems and auxiliary equipment to ensure reliable operation of dry gas seals to reduce life cycle costs.
