The Turbomachinery Laboratory is a nonprofit entity and registration fees, after covering the costs of producing the symposia, are used to support research and education at Texas A&M University.

There are many registration options available to our attendees. Perhaps you only have time for a Short Course on Monday, or you cannot arrive in Houston until Wednesday. Whatever your requirements, we have an option to serve you.

Registration Deadlines
September 4, 2013 Deadline for inclusion in the pre-symposia attendee list that will be printed and supplied to all attendees in the portfolio bag. All others will be printed in the final attendee list that will be distributed via email after the symposia.
September 4, 2013 5:00PM CST - Deadline for guaranteed room rates at the Hilton.
September 4, 2013 5:00PM CST - Deadline for guaranteed room rates at the Hyatt.
September 13, 2013 Deadline for accepting payments or registration forms in the Turbomachinery Laboratory office; after this date, you must register and pay ONSITE at the symposia in Houston.

Payment Options
Enrollment for the Symposia is unlimited, but Short Courses are limited and sold on a first-money-received basis. Registration is not complete until full payment is received. The State of Texas does not permit us to extend credit to individuals or companies.

  • Traveler's checks (in U.S. currency and drawn on a U.S. clearing bank)
  • Wire transfer (must be received by September 13, 2013)

Refund Policy
Should symposia and/or Short Course cancellation be necessary, written refund requests must be received in the Turbomachinery Laboratory office by September 9, 2013, for full refund of registration fees. Substitutions are encouraged. We do request that substitutions be made in advance, as substitutions made onsite at the symposia will result in registration delays.

Late cancellations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for personal hardships, acts of God or national emergencies. After the cancellation date, the Turbomachinery Laboratory will not refund for business decisions by attendee’s employer such as job reassignment, plant emergencies, etc. In the event of a “no-show” cancellation, Symposia and Short Course materials will be forwarded to the absent attendee. Registration fees cannot be applied toward future registrations.

The Turbomachinery Laboratory reserves the right to cancel any Short Course or Symposia in the event of insufficient registration or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of such circumstances, all registration fees will be refunded. The Turbomachinery Laboratory will not be responsible for any losses incurred by the registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
