Michael (Mike) Cugal is a Chief Hydraulic Engineer at Sulzer Pumps Houston, Inc., the lead facility for Sulzer vertical pumps. He provides pump hydraulic expertise to sales, service, and operations including testing. He authored and presented several pump technology technical papers for ASME and the Turbomachinery Laboratory’s International Pump Users Symposium.

Mr. Cugal has a B.S. degree (Mechanical Engineering) from the California Polytechnic University at Pomona. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma engineering honor societies.
