Pump Symposium : Hotel Information

The headquarters hotel for the International Pump Users Symposium is the Hilton Americas Houston. Hospitality suites, Tuesday's buffet, Wednesday's banquet, and symposium staff rooms are all located there. The Hilton is a full service hotel.

The overflow hotel is the Hyatt Regency Houston. The hotel will provide shuttles to the convention center as needed, but symposium management will not provide shuttles as in the past.

Important Note
In order to confirm a room assignment, the hotel will require you to provide a first night's deposit, (refundable up to 72 hours in advance of the guest’s first night of arrival). This charge will show up on your first credit card bill after you make your reservations, approximately 30 days prior to the event.

Housing Bureau:
All hotel reservations must be made through the Greater Houston Convention & Visitor's Center Housing Bureau, NOT directly with the hotel! To insure that your hotel reservation is processed immediately, DO NOT fax housing forms to the Turbomachinery Laboratory or the hotel. Fax them directly to the Housing Bureau.

The Housing Bureau does not take hotel reservations over the phone, but you can call to confirm your reservations at 888-508-5731 or 713-437-5243.

NOTE: Hotel reservations will not be available until October 2008.

Special Information Regarding Hotels
We ask that you make your reservations at the contract hotel. The Turbomachinery Laboratory has contractual obligations at the hotel. If you make reservations at a hotel outside of the block, the Turbomachinery Laboratory falls short of its obligations and is responsible for paying lost income to the hotel, which in turn means higher registration fees and less benefits for participants.
