Members of the Turbomachinery Research Consortium meet in the Spring of each year at Texas A&M University to hear presentations of research conducted by Turbomachinery Laboratory faculty, staff and students during the past year. Proposals for research to be sponsored by the consortium during the coming year also are presented.
Publication of the results of TRC-funded research is delayed for one year after the research is presented to the consortium.
About a week after the meeting, members will receive a package of brief proposals for evaluation and review. The results of this evaluation determines which projects the consortium will fund during the coming year.
A
note on Turbomachinery Laboratory research
TL faculty members have consistently achieved the goals of their research
proposals. We do not, however, guarantee research deliverables in the
TRC program. If your project requires quick turnaround and has specific
goals, you should pursue your research objectives through a research contract.
Research contracts include 45 percent overhead. TEES does not charge overhead
on Turbomachinery Laboratory projects.
