Short Courses

About Short Courses

  • A Short Course is a full day training session.
  • Presenters include hands-on workshops where the methods presented are demonstrated and performed by the participants.

The goal of the workshop is to give the attendees a working knowledge of the subject matter, so they can immediately apply this new knowledge in the workplace.

Short course materials are printed and bound separately from the symposium Proceedings and are provided to short course attendees, and generally are sold to the public for a brief period after the symposium.

Enrollment is limited in each short course, and the seats are sold on a first-come basis, as each complete registration form is received. Registration includes course notebook and lunch, but does NOT include symposium attendance for the remainder of the week.

NOTE: All short courses are presented at the same time, so only ONE may be taken.
