Call for Papers

ABSTRACTS are solicited for the Turbomachinery Symposium

Lectures:A Lecture is the presentation of a technical paper detailing cutting-edge, emerging turbomachinery or reciprocating compressor technology. The described technology should have been successfully field tested at least once and should include field experience. Lectures consist of 30-35 minutes of presentation and 10-15 minutes of questions and discussion. Maximum of 500 word abstract (figures are encouraged).
Tutorials:A Tutorial is a mini short course/workshop. It is a teaching process. Tutorials consist of 75-80 minutes of presentation and 10-15 minutes of questions and discussion, and are presented twice. Maximum of 500 word abstract (figures are encouraged).
Short Courses:A Short Course is a full day training session presented concurrently on the first day of symposium. Short Courses run from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a 90 minute luncheon, and two 10 minute breaks. An outline is encouraged, and authors should indicate what audience the course would address. Maximum of 500 word abstract.
Case Studies:A Case Study is an informal presentation describing the successful implementation of established turbomachinery or reciprocating compressor technology to solve a real-world problem. Case Studies should be written with end-users in mind. Case studies should relate concise and complete success stories/lessons learned. Case studies are limited to 15 minutes to relate their experiences, with an additional five minutes for questions. Presentations consist of an abstract and about 15 slides or overhead transparencies. Maximum of 250 word abstract.

The acceptable file format for submission is WordPerfect or Microsoft Word for PCs or PDF. File size must not exceed 150 kilobytes. Faxed or mailed submissions will not be accepted.
