Exhibit Staff Information
We are pleased that you are participating in the 37th Turbomachinery Symposium to be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
You can look forward to another high quality program that the Advisory Committee has assembled, and we are marketing it accordingly. We expect a good turnout from both international participation and the United States. We are still seeing a rise in the economy which is also reflected in our user attendance.
Please note the rules of booth construction as they follow customary practice to ensure that exhibitors do not impact the line of sight and usage of their neighbors. We continue to be particularly concerned with maintaining high standards and quality for all our guests. Please pay particular attention to the following requirements when planning your exhibits:
The Advisory Committee requires unpretentious, tasteful exhibits and professional and business-like dress and demeanor by exhibitors. The Texas A&M University System has a long-standing policy against discrimination towards minorities, women, and the handicapped. Exhibitors whose products require the presence of scantily-clad females or pictures of scantily-clad females are not welcome.
Texas A&M and the Turbo Advisory committee do not consider this rule to be optional, and it will be firmly enforced. We appreciate your continued cooperation and encourage you to always "be a good neighbor."
We hope you find this online Exhibitor Service Kit helpful and easy to use. Please be sure to read the Rules & Regulations regarding expected behavior of exhibit staff by clicking HERE.
If you require further assistance, please contact our Exhibitor Services staff. We look forward to your participation in another great Turbomachinery Symposium in Houston. Thanks for your continued support.
Yours very truly,
Dara W. Childs, Ph.D., P.E.
Chairman, Turbo Advisory Committee
