New Product Announcements
Will you be introducing a new product, service, or partnership during our show? Press releases, press packets, and press conferences are handled through our Marketing staff.
Please email a two-sentence description of your new product, service, or partnership to our Marketing Director, Rhonda Johnson at rhonda@turbo-lab.tamu.edu. Information is requested by August 18, 2008.
In addition, please contact Rhonda if you would like to arrange for a press conference. She will be happy to guide you in press conference preparation. All press conferences must be arranged through Rhonda.
Press Packets
If you have releases or packets you would like distributed to the press at the Symposium, please mail those materials to the Turbomachinery Laboratory, "Attention: Rhonda Johnson," to arrive in our office by August 18, 2008. For this show, plan on furnishing approximately 40 packets.
Press Members
Working journalists are guests of the Turbomachinery Laboratory and will be admitted to all technical sessions and to the exhibit hall (limited to two JOURNALISTS per trade publication). Press members will be issued press badges. Press is identified as those individuals involved in preparation of technical publications for the turbomachinery users community, newspaper reporters, and members of the media supporting the Turbo Symposium. Staff of an exhibiting company's in-house publication will need to register as exhibitors.

Information about Photographs
Members of the working press may take close-up shots of an exhibit or product display only after securing permission to do so from the involved exhibiting company. Press members are welcome to take overall shots or general shots of the exhibit hall.
Individual attendees taking photographs on the exhibit floor must obtain permission from any exhibiting company whose display will appear in a photograph. Exhibitors may not photograph any other exhibit or product display within the exhibit hall without that specific exhibiting company's permission.
Commercial photographers, who have been commissioned by individual exhibiting companies, also will be required to comply with the same regulations as press photographers. In addition, it will be necessary for the exhibiting company to arrange for a name badge for their designated photographer. Companies may choose to use the official show photographer -- see Service Contractors List for order forms.
Photographs taken by the official show photographer are the property of the Turbomachinery Laboratory and will be used for promotional purposes. No compensation will be provided for use of these photographs.
