Information for Lecture Speakers
Turbo Symposium : Info for Lecture Speakers

Lecture Purpose
A lecture is a presentation of a technical paper detailing cutting-edge, emerging technology. The described technology should have been successfully field tested at least once. Lectures consist of 30 to 35 minutes of presentation and 10 to 15 minutes of questions and discussion. They are scheduled in groups of two (i.e., Lecture 1 and 2, Lecture 3 and 4, etc.), at varying times throughout the week. The goal of the symposium is to educate, discuss, and exchange information between users and manufacturers of turbomachinery equipment and educators. People attend the symposium to learn new technology, and the Lecture presentation should aid the application of this technology.

Please check the Publication Schedule for all applicable dates.

Communication with Authors
Due to manpower and time constraints, most correspondence will be done with the contact author only. The contact author is the person who sends the abstract in originally. It will be up to the contact author to see that all coauthors receive copies of all correspondence. Please notify all coauthors of the information available on these pages. A Data Form must be submitted for each author with complete contact and biographical data included.

Symposium Registration
Each author will be required to register for the symposium. Registration forms will be mailed in June, and reflect a special discounted registration fee. Those individuals who pre-register should pick up badges at the Leader Registration Desk on LEVEL THREE. Those who do not pre-register must first proceed to the Main Registration Desk on LEVEL TWO to submit payment information and have a badge printed.
