November 4, 2022 By Turbolab

The Turbomachinery Laboratory was pleased to continue its award sponsorship at the fourth annual Empowering Women in Industry Conference held October 13th, 2022 in New Orleans, LA. This year, the Turbomachinery Laboratory sponsored the “Leadership in Reliability and Operations” award, earned by Fayon Reynolds of Grundfos.

Brought to you by Empowering Brands, Empowering Women in Industry 2022 is an educational conference followed by an awards gala specifically for women in the industry. Reynolds was among many other accomplished women who were celebrated with awards in categories including leadership, manufacturing, marketing, engineering, advocacy, and innovation.

Fayon Reynolds, Coordinator at Grundfos, was nominated and bestowed the Leadership in Reliability and Operations Award for her outstanding dependability to the company during COVID-19 setbacks. Fayon is a positive force on the Grundfos team by ensuring daily operations are running smoothly despite increasing challenges and the magnitude of change. For example, during the last several years under the context of the pandemic and a global company transformation, Fayon’s team has experienced a backlog 13 times larger than normal with 60% of her team members being new to their role in the last 18 months.

“Fayon has stepped up as an extremely reliable backbone to this always evolving team – ensuring continuity, a positive work culture, and a continued focus on customer needs”, said Martha Burton, CEM, Director of Exhibitor services at Turbo Lab as she presented the award to Reynolds.

Along with this recognition, Grundfos was especially proud to have had fifteen total nominees from the women of the company. They brought home two other awards including “Saleswoman of the Year” and “Leadership in Manufacturing”.

The Turbomachinery Laboratory is honored to be an esteemed award sponsor of Empowering Women in Industry 2022 and are looking forward to next year’s conference.
